How can I thread my programmable thermostat for my A / C will work?
I have a Robertshaw 300-252 thermostat programmable digital I installed last fall. It worked great during the winter, but when I went to turn on my a / c, it will not work. I lost the instructions and this thermostat is older so I can not find a manual online. It came with this green thing fuse and he said that if your A / C not working not, connect it between two connectors. I W, RH, RC, Y and G. I do not know which two to connect. When I put on the SR and LR, the fan ran but something in my basement that sounds scary, so I cut.
A Your son is your hot wire, the power to son, your w is the gas, Y your contactor is cooling, and G is for your fan. That's what you want to take over the R and disconnect it and just touch your Y. This you should kick the condenser outside ON, someone to tell you if it runs. If it works, then your AC will work. You want to run your son RY Wireless G and W wire to where they are all so it does not do anything then try to get your son R. 2 If this does not work yet, then you must make a jumper wire and jump your son R 2 together and then it should work.
