This keeps the area warm and comfortable, even if the heating mechanism is not lit. Other advantages include that little or no maintenance required on these units, such as oil never need recharging. Coil heaters using metal coils in the heater, which are triggered by infrared wavelengths to produce heat. They are also called "Fan Forced" heaters. It because the coils heat the air which is forced through the coils, then push the hot air into the room. Halogen based heaters are the latest style on the market. These are the most efficient of all heating appliances and are based on the same technology as efficient halogen bulb. The concept behind halogen based heaters is the same as how the sun provides heat. Rather than heating the air around it, the halogen heaters based uses light as a delivery system of heat. This technology allows for increased comfort compared to older furnaces, for heat arises immediately - just as if you were to walk in the sun on a cold winter day.
