Zone Safe
The word comfort is a curious. In my mind, inspires images of a comfortable chair, soft and comfortable sitting beside the fireplace with a hot chocolate and reading a detective story riveting. Outside it was raging snowstorm which reinforces my feeling of warmth and security, but the glass that separates us is an indestructible shield, a barrier that keeps me strong beyond belief.
A comfort zone, however, is a construct. It is structure of mental barriers that are not necessarily real. Your comfort zone is where you live in your head and your body. It is your thoughts and these thoughts are reflected in your environment. It is your belief system. It is your dependence on your current lifestyle.
A comfort zone takes you safety, but not necessarily happy.
Consider your job: If you have a job that you had for several years, while employment is in your comfort zone. You can like or dislike the work does nothing, it's all the same. The position is your addiction.
Consider your financial situation: if your investment income which has usually accompanied by your debt, (it to tell if your debt increases with wage / income increases), whereas parallel is your comfort zone. Again, it does not matter if you are gradually above, equal or below. Your comfort zone is in a certain financial structure, even if it is a stressful exercise.
According removal, What the Bleep, the average person is awake about 60,000 thoughts a day, of which 95% are thought to be repeated yesterday. It is thought 57,000 recycled. Recycling the junk in our homes is good. Recycling thoughts, not so good! And here's why: 57.000 of these thoughts, 80% are negative. This is a huge 45,600 thoughts in which we scold one way or another. And while it exists in our comfort zone!
Let's be clear. A comfort zone is an opinion, a construct that creates a false sense of security. You may hate your job, but you stay this position because of the benefits, pension, paycheck. And you've convinced yourself that if you lose your job, you'll be sick and retire broke, and starve on the road. You may hate that you are in an abusive relationship, but the thought of being alone is even more terrifying. So you put up with it, and the way to convince yourself you really deserve.
Because you fear the unknown, the misery becomes your comfort zone.
Know your comfort zone, understand, become aware, is the first step in moving from fear to love.
