Integrate data from Excel date range and average?
Spreadsheet has several names (a) Divisions (B) Total hours worked (c) Total quantity (: D) Total value produced (: E) and the date worked (f) The idea is to set a start date and end (without filter) and get the average units produced per hour. I know this can be done by duplicating the equation twice, once to take the hours worked per employee, the other to pull the units produced ... and then a formula on the main sheet calculation to get the right number in the right places. The real question lies in taking only data from a wide certain date so that we can display anything, say, 1/1/09 - 1/31/09 and we put a new start date and display data from 1/17/09-1/24/09 ...
If I am understanding your question, you want to be able to say two dates in G2 and H2 and use these values to derive a formula that calculates an average only for those values when the date is worked between G2 and H2. It would be much easier to program a database like MS Access. Excel is really not made for these types of relational queries. Here is a workaround that should work, though. G2 = H2 start date end date = G3 = "> =" G2 = & H3 "> Response = & H2 (SOMME.SI (E: E, G3, C: C) - SUMIF (E: E, H3, C: C)) / (SOMME.SI (E: E, G3, B: B) - SUMIF (E: E, H3, B: B)) The first are the quantity produced from the start date, subtracting the amount produced after the end date, then divide the result by the same algorithm for the hours worked to give the amount per hour.
