The CBRE recirculators type are designed for use in commercial and industrial applications where there is a high ceiling create a sufiicient temperature difference between floor and ceiling. These applications include factories, warehouses and large commercial buildings.
CBRE recirculators Roof fans function as regular power roof in hot weather and as a major energy saving air recirculation in cold weather. Each unit is equipped with a reversible fan that distributes warm air thoughout the ceiling of the plant and reduces heating requirements of the builing's. With a flip of a switch may operate as a conventional ceiling fan. There are two types of units: 1) for exhaust and recirculation, 2) for exhaust, supply and recirculation.

It prevents smoke logging, allows people to escape quickly, minimizes damage to property and contents and enables firemen to attack the fire without hindrance. These power roof ventilators have the added advantage providing normal day to day ventilation and in many cases can also be equipped with duct system for use in buildings several floors.
The concept of evacuating smoke and heat had been set by Industrial Risk Insurers (IRI). Use of motor vehicle breakdown could eliminate problems with gravity vents. Specially designed roof mounted exhaust fans would mechanically Wind heat and smoke in fire emergencies.
The single type roof ventilators HS to provide a solution for emergency heat and smoke evacuation is reliable in the most extreme circumstances.
All critical components of HS PTV that exposed to the airstream are ferrous construction to withstand high temperatures. Type HC Power Ventilators roof have been tested to work:
- Conituously to 650 F;
- 3 hours at 800 F;
- 1.5 hours at 1000 F;
- 1 / 2 hours at 1200 F.
