Cleaner Ozone
Ozone, a molecule composed of three oxygen atoms, is a very effective cleanser. When paired with a source of ultraviolet light, ozone is able to clean almost any surface quickly and efficiently. This has been confirmed by years of testing and research.
In the 1970s, a series of experiments began to show the effectiveness of UV cleaning, and finally, the combination of UV and ozone. An experiment in early 1972 has shown that UV light, combined with a quartz filter and a mercury lamp as ozone generated, has been able to successfully assist the depolymerization of photoresist polymers.
Another experiment was able to demonstrate the ability of UV and ozone to clean oil from glass and gold surfaces. The results indicate absorbed than oil could be removed from these surfaces after 15 hours of exposure to UV or the mixture of ozone and store under the surface cleaner that will clean that they can be stored indefinitely.
Another series of tests in late 1970s demonstrated the ability of a / UV ozone mixture to clean surfaces in less than a minute, under optimal conditions. Since then, the use of UV / ozone has been increasing in many industries.
To determine the optimal conditions for UV / Cleaning of the ozone layer, experimenters began by creating two UV cleaning boxes, aluminum. The two boxes containing lamps mercury, which would be used to generate different wavelengths of light, serving as a variable in the experiment. The materials reached a remarkably level of cleanliness in this method: it has produced nearly atomic clean surfaces, as evidenced by Auger spectroscopy (AES), electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis (ESCA) spectroscopy and ion diffusion / mass spectroscopy secondary ions (ISS / SIMS) studies.
UV / cleaning of ozone has many applications. It can be used to clean semiconductors, as in the experiment. It may also be effective water cleaning. The combination of cleaning has proven its ability to clear water of toxic contaminants, such as ethanol, waste Medical and pesticides. Further tests on the theme of cleaning water with UV / ozone showed that the use of both simultaneously is more effective than using either alone.
This cleaning method works well on many flat surfaces, provided that the configuration is correct used.
