Filters Grid
The pools have always been either a sand filter cartridge or DE to clean water. Let us look at the differences of each type of filter.
FILTERS In SAND, the first type of filter works by using fine filter sand inside the tank or vessel to collect dirt and debris from the pool. The pool water is sent to the pool filter pump up the tank and an assembly within the vessel called the distributor of "rain" water down and through the sand. As the water migrates through the sand bed, the pool water is perceived by Side Within the bottom of the tank and returned to the pool clean and sanitized. The sand inside the filter can take several years if the filter is "washed". What washing? Backwashing is when the water flow inside the filter is reversed (in using the selector valve outside the filter) and the dirty water and debris are flushed out by the waste line of the pool system. During washing, some sand will be lost each time and the level of pond water will be lowered. When it is time to replace the sand, the sand must be removed former, either by hand or tool and the filter will have to rebuild with new filter media costs.
The second type of filter is a filter cartridge It uses a replaceable cartridge element to capture dirt and debris from a pool or spa. The cartridge is housed in a tank, upper dome or lid is held by a pin or clip and is manufactured with the ability to withdraw the mind. When the cartridge has received much dust and debris from the cartridge is removed and throwing off the dirt removed and the item is replaced in the tank. The cartridge will last for many years if it is cleaned on a regular basis and not allowed to become too full. Cartridge filters when they do not require cleaning not washing, the level of pool water is not changed during cleaning. The filter cartridges are an ideal choice for spas because of this fact and because of the proximity of cleaning.
The DE filter is the third type of filter will be discussed. This type of filter grids that are inside tank and hold a thin layer of DE. As the pool water is sent to the tank of the pool pump passes through these grids covered with ED and catch dirt and debris for removal. The diatomaceous earth filter can be "cleaned" periodically to remove dirt and debris from inside the filter. Like sand filter whenever the filter is washed, the pool level is lowered and some is lost. Finally, the filter should be disassembled, removed the old and DE diatomaceous earth replaced free within the filter. Initial costs may be added directly to the filter tank while the tank is opened for maintenance.
After reviewing all three types, the type is better? All three types offer excellent filtering capabilities and is maintained in perfect working condition, all three can and will keep your pool or spa crystal clear and blue.
