One of the most important things you can do to keep your air conditioner or heating system Working a maximum of efficiency is change your air filter. If you need more efficient filtration of air you may want an electrostatic Electronic or even a HEPA filter. The more efficient the filter is in most cases it should be cleaned or replaced.
The electrostatic filters offer the most value. They cost 2 to 6 times more effective than a disposable filter, but are reusable. Rinse your simply with water and they are ready to use again.
Electronic filters will never become dirty enough to effect airflow. They become inefficient ability to eliminate dust of the air decreases. To clean the filters, you must remove the electronic cell and soak them in something like cleaner HVAC and then rinse and dry.
